When faced with stress, there is a spectrum of options available to react to it. The patterns we choose in reacting to stress shows the level of our maturity and strength of character.
Some react to stress by playing the victim, creating deception, withdrawing or being aggressive. On the other had, the more mature act with courage, honesty, positive engagement or being assertive.
Today we should ask ourself what our automatic response patterns to stress are. Have we been employing mature methods in reacting to stress? Can we try to change our reactions?
Let us remember that the quality of our reactions to stress have an effect on the quality of our lives.
