Do you ever feel that a year has passed by and nothing has happened to you? Ever feel stuck and immobile? Ever feel that you are still where you started, and that nothing is changing to your benefit?
Taking stock of your life, it will always seem slow if you spend your life doing things that do not move you; doing things that do not excite you into positive action.
True contentment can only be found in one thing: in the knowledge that you are growing at the best pace you can muster. It can only be attained by pushing yourself to the limits, and constantly expanding the boundaries of what you can do.
You may not have everything you want right now, nor have the ideal life; but be happy that as time passes, and with your true human effort, you are getting there.
You can get true contentment by knowing that, even though you aren’t there yet, you will eventually get there; because you have decided to arrive… and nothing will stop you.
